  • What's Up, PL? 1 year ago I know there has been much to say lately on issues close to ‘home’ and that I’ve been silent on much discussed subjects. Truth is, I have been busy writing about that volcano issue for other news outlets, and also hard at work on the revamping of www.patagonialiving.com - we hope...
  • A Sad Day in Patagonia 2 years ago Today is a sad day in Patagonia. A Chilean goverment commission has approved the $8billion hydroelectric project that will dam 5 wild rivers in the Aysen Region of Southern Chile, including the mighty Rio Baker. These are pristine, ice-blue rivers fed by glaciers that drain out of massive lakes...
  • Should I let him keep the puma skull? 2 years ago I’m married to what North Americans may call a ‘hoarder’. He calls himself a colecionista. More accurate would be a Nature Nerd. This blog is written by a Canadian who has lived all over the world (Germany, France, etc.), worked as a journalist (in Costa Rica), married an Argentinian, then set up an adventure & exploration company in Patagonia. Her blog is as adventurous, thought-provoking, and inspiring as she is. I absolutely love this blog!!
