  • Phuket Webcam at Patong Bay 1 week ago The Phuket Blog has been online since 2006. In the same year I started a Phuket Weather Blog which was started when I realised that a lot of people search online for weather information. Is it raining? What will the weather be like in mid-September? If it rains, does it rain all day or just...
  • Loy Krathong 2017 - 3rd November 2017 3 weeks ago Loy Krathong is a very old festival which takes place on the full moon of the 12th lunar month (so the date is different every year). In 2017 the date will be November 3rd. Loy Krathong is largely about giving thanks to the goddess of water, though may be based on an old Hindu festival. There are...
  • Visiting The Phuket Elephant Sanctuary 3 weeks ago Hidden away on a massive plot of verdant land in the north of Phuket island, the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary has been generating a steady amount of buzz since it opened in late 2016. Phuket’s first and only true elephant sanctuary, visitors have the unique experience to spend a morning or afternoon...
  • Phang Nga Bay Tour on a Rainy Day 2 months ago Low season weather in the Phuket area is rather unpredictable. If you're lucky you can get a week of sun and blue skies in the so-called rainy season, but if you are unlucky you can get a week with hardly any sun. The months from June to August were actually quite nice this year, but the second...

your post makes me think a good memory in Phuket again.Last month my husband and I visited Phuket island of Thailand. One of the places we really enjoyed was a Thai Cultural Theme Park - Phuket FantaSea. Every service area there was beautiful and neat. We enjoyed watching their beautiful, costumed parade culminating at an outdoor stage with a Bangok theme show. The place is really somewhat like Disneyland of Thailand! The highlight their main show held at a beautiful Palace of the Elephants Theater. I must say it was pretty amazing, I left overwhelmed by their beautiful culture. International buffet dinner was good, particularly the noodle soup. We remember it as one of our nicest outings in Phuket and do recommend it for a quality evening-into-the-night entertainment. Don't miss it!
