  • Top 10 Trips and Tours from Phuket 2 days ago Most of the trips we do as a family from Phuket are done "our own way" without joining any organised or paid tour. And for us that's easy enough as we have transport, we know the roads, we can speak the lingo plus we enjoy exploring on our own. On many of the blog posts about trips such as Phang...
  • Black Rock Viewpoint - Pa Hin Dam (ผาหินดำ) 4 weeks ago There's always something new to find in the Phuket area! Just about a year ago (May 2016) we found a newly opened viewpoint in Phang Nga, not far from Phuket, called Samet Nangshe - and it was quite a find, hardly known a year ago, but now on quite a few tour itineraries and websites. There are a...
  • Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), Krabi 1 month ago On our little 3 day holiday in the Krabi area at the end of April 2017 there were a couple of well known attractions that we wanted to visit. We were not too bothered about beaches although for sure on our next visit I want to see Railey Beach. We did want to see the Emerald Pool, and will visit...
  • Emerald Pool, Krabi (Sra Morokot) 1 month ago We had a very nice family trip to Krabi at the end of April 2017 (just a couple of nights away from Phuket). It's not too far, about 2 1/2 hours drive from our house to Krabi Town. We skipped the beaches, but had a couple of well known attractions that we wanted to visit. After checking in to our...

For a summary have a look at Temples in Phuket. For many years I...

your post makes me think a good memory in Phuket again.Last month my husband and I visited Phuket island of Thailand. One of the places we really enjoyed was a Thai Cultural Theme Park - Phuket FantaSea. Every service area there was beautiful and neat. We enjoyed watching their beautiful, costumed parade culminating at an outdoor stage with a Bangok theme show. The place is really somewhat like Disneyland of Thailand! The highlight their main show held at a beautiful Palace of the Elephants Theater. I must say it was pretty amazing, I left overwhelmed by their beautiful culture. International buffet dinner was good, particularly the noodle soup. We remember it as one of our nicest outings in Phuket and do recommend it for a quality evening-into-the-night entertainment. Don't miss it!
