I laughed as I read your blog because it brought back so many memories of my time spent in New Zealand. My Texas accent confused them as much as I was confused! One mixup was when we shared some a "kettle beast" with a friend. I was so relieved when my husband explained it was beef! Loved this blog and will certainly return! Ta!
