  • Juneau Whale Watching and Glacier Viewing in Alaska 1 week ago Albom Adventures Alaska’s capital city is unique, but with only six hours to see the sights, Juneau whale watching was my number one priority. Like so many visitors to this city, we arrived via cruise ship. With plenty of options, our family split up. Two explored in kayaks, without a camera....
  • Springtime in New Zealand: Baby Lambs in Shakespear Park 1 week ago Albom Adventures As I look at the hills dotted with baby lambs, I know why springtime in New Zealand is my favourite time of year. Their handlers compete for my attention with crashing waves as a horse gracefully gallops through the Essaouira surf. We came for windsurfing lessons on this stretch of Morocco’s Atlantic coast, most famous for being windy....

I laughed as I read your blog because it brought back so many memories of my time spent in New Zealand. My Texas accent confused them as much as I was confused! One mixup was when we shared some a "kettle beast" with a friend. I was so relieved when my husband explained it was beef! Loved this blog and will certainly return! Ta!
