  • My Italian Bucket List: The Town of Noto in Sicily 1 year ago The other day I had somewhat of a Proustian madeleine moment. An Italian version of it. Instead of tasting a madeleine dipped in lime-blossom tea, I took a sip of Cembali Nero D’Avola from Baglio di Pianetto winery. Intense, complex and warm it instantly brought back memories of sun-scorched...
  • BlaBlaCar: Meet Locals and Save Money While Travelling in Italy 1 year ago Slow travel has unexpectedly benefited from the technology boom. Long gone are the days of staying in generic hotels and waiting hours for the next bus because it’s the only transportation in town.
