This is a very intelligent and well done blog. He writes about Perez Zeledon (San Isidro de el General) area. His blogs ranges from his kid's adventures at school to navigating the health care system to beautiful nature photos. He seems like a handy guy and is often building something which I find interesting too. I read lots of stuff about Costa Rica and this is one of my favorites.

A Dull Roar is certainly one of the best blogs about Costa Rica if not the very best! The insights are so helpful. It is obvious that Casey experiences Costa Rica from perspectives of curiosity, thoughtfulness and patience. This is so helpful for those of us who live here as well as those thinking about moving here. Thank you, Casey for all you do to help provide insight, other ways of thinking and pure joy in the life that we have here!

A Dull Roar is my favorite blog. Casey writes beautifully and manages to infuse rich meaning into his narratives - whether writing about his family, the weather, animals of all kinds, the crazy Costa Rican laws, the beauty of the countryside....As a new settler in Perez Zeledon, I appreciate his insights into many aspects of life here. And usually find them spot on. I know his wife and sister through the wonderful women's club here in San Isidro and appreciate their being willing to share aspects of their daily lives through his writings in this blog! Pura Vida.

Love this blog. I've always dreamed about moving to Costa Rica, and most websites just don't have the depth of info this one does. I feel, as I read it, that I'm getting a glimpse inside how it really feels to live in the region of Costa Rica he does. Its refreshing, and renews my wish that I could move there someday.
