  • Japan Spring Vacation 2014 2 days ago If you follow me on social media, especially on Instagram, or even if you’re a subscriber to my newsletter (the last one I sent during my trip with “live information”), then you probably already know where I went for my “Japan Spring Vacation 2014″. Spring is one of my favorite times to...
  • Is Dating Japanese Women Really That Easy? 1 month ago I’ve previously written about dating in Japan and interviewed a few of my female fellow bloggers about dating Japanese men. After publishing it, a lot of men asked questions about dating Japanese women. They were mainly concerned about how to approach a Japanese woman and cross-cultural...
  • Sekai no Ume Koen (World Plum Park) near Himeji 1 month ago I know, I know. Everyone loves cherry blossom season in Japan. But don’t forget about plum blossoms! I’ll never understand why they get less attention from foreign visitors. They’re just as beautiful and on top of that they SMELL better! There are several great plum blossom viewing spots....
  • The Beauty of Japan Captured on Video 1 month ago If you are a regular reader, I probably don’t have to tell you that Japan is a beautiful and interesting country. I try my best to show you this through my photos, but you’ve probably noticed the lack of videos. I admit that I neither have proper equipment nor the necessary skills or knowledge...
  • Earthquakes and Nuclear Power Plants in Japan 1 month ago Everybody knows that Japan is prone to earthquakes. In fact, there are quakes almost every single day. Meticulously designed and maintained, Zooming Japan is an informative and engaging blog focused on life in and travel within Japan. The blogger, Jasmine T., has a friendly writing-style, and her photography makes you feel as though you're right in Japan. Recently she has begun to include a "Tourist Information" box below her entries. This feature is quite useful as it provides data regarding fees, opening hours, access, and more. I am a long-time subscriber and admirer of the Zooming Japan blog. Reading about the various items, festivals, shrines, and aspects of daily life makes me look forward to my own trip to Japan. I appreciate all of the time and effort Jasmine T. puts into producing her blog entries, each of which is packed with photos and knowledge. If you're interested in Japan and travel, definitely give this blog a visit.
