  • The Story of Moeraki 1 week ago Sometimes a place doesn’t live up to expectations on the road. I know that has happened to me several times on trips. The hype gets too much and then it tanks. But then there’s the flipside, when a place which maybe you weren’t super thrilled about visiting that ends up completely blowing you...
  • To Edoras I Go! 2 weeks ago Sometimes I literally have to pinch myself when I realize I get to live in Middle Earth here in New Zealand. Actually I pretty much pinch myself every day here, let’s be honest. I am sure you guys are probably sick and tired of listening to me wax poetic about how New Zealand is so [...] The post...
  • The Catlins - New Zealand's Best Kept Secret 3 weeks ago New Zealand has some pretty good secret spots, I am not going to lie. In fact, I’d argue that New Zealand as a whole is one of the world’s best-kept secrets. While I talk about it like everyone and their mother should know where I mean (oh I live in Wanaka, I’m SURE you’ve heard [...] The...
  • Winter Solitude at Doubtful Sound 2 months ago When people talk about must-do’s in New Zealand, if there is one place mentioned at the top, it has to be Milford Sound. I like Liz's blog a lot! She keeps it real, and her writing style is quite entertaining. I identify with her story, being an expat in Spain myself and having the troubles she has had with learning Spanish and making a fool of herself from time to time. A definite must read if you're heading to Spain anytime soon!

Her experiences are true! We had similar things happen with paperwork while in Spain and I LOVE her sense of humor! I love sneaking a peak at her blog on my lunchbreak, it keeps me sane! Keep up the bueno trabajo chica!

I love the wat Liz describes her expat stories- it makes me laugh and want to visit the same places she does, eat the same tapas and run away from the bulls! It is a perfect blog for expats in Spain and for those who only visit Spain.
