HSBC Expat, the compilers of the largest expat survey in the world, are calling for expats from all over the globe to take part in their 2013 survey.

Commissioned by HSBC Bank International, the survey covers just about every expat experience of living and working overseas. It paints a global picture of expat life in all its stages, pointing out the difference and diversity of the hundreds of expat destinations across the planet.

The results are a compilation of expat views on quality of life, raising a family overseas and all other aspects of living in and adjusting to an unfamiliar country. 2012’s survey was the largest ever, with 5,300 expat respondents from more than 100 diverse countries giving their views.

In 2013, HSBC is hoping to gather even more opinions and experiences from those who live their lives far from their country of origin. The insights published as a result of the annual surveys not only help the international bank to tailor its services to expats, but allow potential migrants to evaluate their chosen expat destination through the opinions of those who’ve gone there, are still there and have done that.
