  • Thin, Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies 2 days ago I recently put my foot in my mouth, again. Maybe because I was a restaurant cook for so long and spent decades pumping out food...
  • Creme de Marrons (Chestnut Spread) 1 week ago When I was sprier (and when I could eat all that chocolate!) I used to do culinary tours. One of the most fun things to do was to take people into places and explain some of the lesser-known items that, incongruently, France is famous for. I know. David's a great cook and he's been blogging and living in Paris a long time. Experience shows and this is one of the most informative and well written blogs around. It's always fun when he needs to let off some steam too :-)

I love this blog, even as a non-expat / local! Very witty anecdotes and interesting topics / restaurant reviews from a true insider.
