Loved reading this, since we too have had a love affair with Provence for many years, and actually made our plan work in 2005, when we moved from Solihull( near Stratford upon Avon). I have got to know yourvery good friend "Grace "--we both do Pilates classes at the same little wonderful gym. I'm living in Salernes ( celebre pour les carrelages ! )while as you know --Grace lives in neighbouring Villecroze. Your pictures of the Valensole Plateau have inspired us to visit next June---though I do have lots of lavender bushes--which I'm now cutting + drying ! We know St. Remy ,and Maussane very well---we used to stay on hols in the 80s. You have also captured the essence of St. Tropez, which we love to visit in March or October ( for the grande Braderie--when all the shops slash their prices--Kiwi Bikinis for around 10 Euros !
