The Good Life in Morocco (gold)
My family and I moved to Marrakech 6 years ago from London. The beginning of a huge adventure for us. Becky in Burma (gold)
I'm a writer from a small town in the USA, living in Burma with my husband and daughter. I blog about transitioning to a new country, expat parenting, and my passions: writing and art. One fan says: Becky is a wonderful writer with real depth and spirit. Her blogs about Burma are by turns funny, heartwarming and bittersweet as she battles cultural differences and talks about her inspirations and frustrations. Reading her posts always make me think and she very acuitively reflects life as an expat in this developing country. Highly recommended!
Jessica Mudditt's Blog (silver)
Stories from around the world (by Jessica Mudditt)Content includes words and pictures on nearly three years spent in Bangladesh as a special correspondent, four months in Burma and travel in Pakistan, Israel, Iran etc One fan says: I really like this blog as an expat living in Myanmar/Yangon. It provides a really interesting and broad perspective to life here and not just the one that I live. Especially as it's not related to the much more mundane "what's on" or "where to get" type information that I keep having to bear electronically here. For me it's great to see the human and political aspects of this amazing country and for me this is what makes this blog stand out.
Feisty Blue Gecko (bronze)
Life and work of a Scottish woman in Asia - with the added complication of Breast Cancer thrown into the mix! Moved to Asia in 2000, and to Yangon, Myanmar in June 2009 We say: Amazing pictures and wonderful description of life and events in Burma seen by Scottish expat with a unique perspective.

I plan on lots of travel in my future and this blog excites me beyond words.

One fan says: What can I say.....Nerissa you're a legend!!! I honestly don't think that I would have passed my Inburgering exam without your blog...what a lifeline! Reading about your experiences was invaluable in my preparation and I have passed the link on to other expats here in Maastricht. Besides all of that, the rest of your blogs are hilarious! You are one observant, witty, funny, genuine woman...shine on you crazy diamond! x

One fan says: A Flamingo in Utrecht is one of my favourite blogs by expats living in the Netherlands. Alison´s posts are an incredible source of information about Utrecht and all things Dutch; living proof that there's a lot more to Holland than Amsterdam, the Red Light District, tulips and mills.
