Italians living in Bermuda will now be able to watch TV shows and listen to radio programmes from their homeland for the first time, announced the island nation’s ExPat TV.

The television station already features dozens of UK channels such as BBC, ITV and a number of popular Sky channels as well as ones from the US, Germany, Greece, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

The network’s boss David Skinner, from Bermuda, explained that he recently met with people involved in the running of ExPat TV, and was informed of the additional packages that would be available. He noted that given the sizeable Italian community on the island, he felt the move would be a huge success.

He went on to say that he wanted to provide as many services as possible, so the plans to introduce the Italian channels were part of method of consistently updating what was on offer. He added that he hoped the additional channels would improve people’s viewing experience.
