  • Nutcote-May Gibbs home 2 months ago Nutcote was the home of the author May Gibbs.  She brought the Australian bush to life in her tales, most notably Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.  I may have read the book as a child, but I didn’t manage to visit her home until I was an adult. Sydney Harbour Bridge can be seen. ‘Banksia men’...
  • Review-The Fifth Letter - Nicola Moriarty 2 months ago Description “Preorder this novel of old friendships, secrets and betrayals now” Joni, Trina, Deb and Eden. Best friends since the first day of school. Best friends, they liked to say, forever. But now they are in their thirties and real life – husbands, children, work – has got in the way....
  • My Sunday Photo - Sunny Seaford beach 2 months ago On Friday afternoon I made the time to go for a walk along the seafront. The dismal cold weather has been getting to me in recent weeks, so I haven’t been making the effort to go for a walk every day. However with the sun shining and although there was a slight breeze, I made Read More ... The...
  • Leaning, leaping and getting organised 2 months ago Once again there has been a bit of a lull between blog posts.  I haven’t been getting much writing done at all this year. In contrast though I have been doing quite a bit of reading.  I am already ahead of my target.  I say this with an element of caution as I am hoping Read More ... The post...

I used to love riding my bike.  I still do, but I haven’t made time in...

Cathy writes a lovely blog, often full of interesting information about this region in which we both live - unlike me, she's more adventurous than I am, so she does all the leg-work (so to speak) enabling me to enjoy the fruit of her travels!

Cathy's blog is fabulous, it is a great read. Whether it is about her life in Italy , or as now her life in England. Or it could be about her home in Australia. Wonderful memories, photos and and inspirational.
