- The Backstabbing World of Working From Home 1 month ago Working from home means I often walk from room to room while carrying a laptop and wearing noise cancelling headphones. The headphones often feel like I’m entering a vacuum, the modern seashell to an ear. While I sit at my desk in Doha I can immediately be transported to a colleague’s inner...
- Why I've Been Taking Pictures of the Back of my Head... 1 month ago I’ve been taking photos and video of the back of my head for around 8 months now. It began post chemo when my hair began to thin. Just the odd sneaky shot to see how things were looking back there. Scrutinized and then deleted for fear of being caught. The weekend when I began to […]
- The Expat Home 2 months ago The children came home to find me sobbing on the couch. “The most amazing thing has just happened” I told them while smiling through the tears. If you're an expat there is no other blog I can think of that captures every topic, emotion and experience like Kirsty does. It might be because I am a fellow Aussie living in a parallel universe but I think Kirsty's writing appeals to everyone regardless of where they are living and what their life experiences are. My absolute favourite blog to read without question.
