  • Chillin' at Mauerpark 6 months ago A strange and lovely day. Broke out the bike and headed for the Mauerpark flea market with big visions of a DIY project I spotted on Pinterest this morning. Homemade lampshades from upcycled materials like old photo slides and vintage lampshade wireframes. Unfortunately I didn’t find what I was...
  • Urgent Veterinary Care and Pet Emergencies in Berlin 1 year ago Being an expat and not speaking German can be extremely frustrating when your pet becomes sick or injured and needs urgent care. Who can help? Where can we go? Can they come to my pet? And a question that you don’t want to think about but must anyway, how much does it cost? My beloved […]
  • Best of Berlin Blogs: Roundup Feb 2013 1 year ago During January I took a respite from my online life and as such got a big behind (oops…haha…typo..ummm…well maybe that too with all the EATING), I mean a BIT behind on reading all the awesome blogs out there about Berlin. Hi. I have started reading your blog about your life in Berlin. I live in CA but one day, I'd like to spend some life experience in Germany and your experience is helpful to others like myself. I have always like Germany, German history, and the German people. Keep up the great writing and sharing and I hope your cat is okay. If George passed on to the other side, it is still nice you had all of those years with him. Best.
