  • Tahini Molasses Cookies (Grain-Free) 2 hours ago Ever since we discovered this recipe for tahini cookies, we have been making and loving our own version of them almost every week.  I like them so much that I just have to share them with you.  The list of ingredients is so short, and (if I ask him nicely) Jeff can whip up a […]The post Tahini...
  • Grilled Sardines with Preserved Lemon Gremolata 2 days ago I’m excited to share another recipe with you from The Nourished Kitchen cookbook by Jenny McGruther!  This is one of the recipes in her beautiful book that really leaped out at me and made me instantly hungry.  I love just about all seafood, and in particular when it is blended with bright...
  • Visiting the City of Bath (Part 2) 3 days ago After a wonderful first day in the city of Bath, our second day in Bath was also fantastic.  We grabbed breakfast at a café our host recommended, which reminded us of a place in Portland.  After that, it was all about a couple things we had in mind for Amelia.  She is always such a […]The...
  • The Things We Take for Granted... 4 days ago I watched the most charming video this week.  It is the story of two elderly women from the Netherland who got the chance to fly in an airplane for the first time in their lives.  I was expecting something fun, yet was surprised to actually find myself crying part way through the video, because...
  • A Visit to the City of Bath 4 days ago It’s getting close to two weeks since we visited the city of Bath, so I’d better get some pictures up before it slips off of my To Do list!  Jeff, Amelia and I drove to Bath on a Friday morning, and stayed with a kind stranger we met via couchsurfing.  We were only there for […]The post A...

This has been a fun adventure to follow. As an former-expat (to many different countries) I find the insights she shares to be particularly poignant. She really has done so much to make the most of her time overseas. Love the pictures, and the stories are easy to resonate with.

Ariana captures life abroad through the lens of her own unique passions in life. Having grown up cross-culturally, she brings a unique voice to the expat experience; one that keeps me coming back time and time again, just to see what amazing adventures she will share next. Great photos and honest writing combine to make a blog that is like no other.

Gorgeous and well-written blog about life in the English countryside. The photography is lovely and captures Suffolk perfectly.
